The Case Background

You are a designer at a company that develops a web application for creating and hosting online courses. The platform allows users to create their own courses, enroll in courses created by others, and interact with instructors and learners. The platform also provides analytics and feedback for both instructors and learners.

The Task

Design a user interface for the course creation flow.

Consider the following aspects:

● How would you structure the information and navigation on the screen?

● Guiding the user through the course creation process, from topic selection to content addition and course publication.

● Utilizing design principles to enhance usability, such as Hick’s law, Miller’s law or Jakob Nielsen’s usability principles.

● Presenting options for adding various content types, including text, images, videos, quizzes, and more.

● Remember that your design will be used in the browser on both laptops and larger screens.

Expectations

● Use any tool or method that suits you, such as sketching, wireframing, or prototyping, etc.

● Present and explain your design decisions and rationale.

● This is a short time to complete the task. It’s ok to focus more on one part of the process more than others, but it’s still good to have at least some wireframes to show your ideas.

● It’s also ok to make some assumptions based on your own experience or research, but please state them clearly and justify them.
